One more big piece of casting for 24 has fallen into place, as the Hollywood Reporter says Mykelti Williamson (Forrest Gump) has joined Season 8.

Williamson will play Brian Hastings, the head of CTU New York, described by the Reporter as an MBA-type with "a razor-sharp intellect."

Also joining Season 8, says the Reporter, is Doug Hutchison, who is known to Lost fans as DHARMA leader Horace. Hutchison will play Davros, "a dangerous European terrorist." Coincidentally (we presume), both Williamson and Hutchison had roles in NBC's short-lived Kidnapped.
