Manga have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of XXXHolic – First Collection on 27th October 2008. Based on the best selling manga, the supernatural comedy anime XXXHOLIC comes to DVD .
Here is synopsis: High school student Watanuki is a young man who has been haunted his entire life by dark spirits only he can see, the result of a curse flowing through his bloodline preventing peace.
When his incessant demons drag him to the ornate door of the Dimensional Witch, Yuko Ichihara, he meets a mystical woman of insight and luxury. Yuko is the owner of a shop that grants wishes, but a price equal to the power required to grant each wish must be paid. For Watanuki, his only wish is to be rid of his spirits. Yuko agrees to help him, but as he is unable to pay the requisite fee, Watanuki is forced to work for the witch in her shop as her part-time employee, running errands and handling the everyday chores. However, it's not long before Watanuki's new position introduces him to a deeply unusual and mystical world where nothing is as it seems.
