Aussie actor Mitch Ryan has booked a recurring role on CW's veteran soap "One Tree Hill DVD boxset."

On the drama's seventh season, Ryan will play Alexander, a handsome pro surfer-turned-young mogul.

Ryan will next be seen in the Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg miniseries for HBO "The Pacific."
